So our first time out with these sisters for their Dance Portrait - Mother Nature was working against us. At the start, the wind was giving us fits and then just as we got into a rhythm the rains hit. So we scheduled a re-shoot and headed out to the same location under more favorable conditions. And I am glad we did. This time out, we were able to really ease into the shoot and find that groove where everything starts to click. The dancers were at ease. The photographers were at ease. And we were able to spend some time exploring some of the opportunities we didn't get the first round.
I can't say enough about how great these two are to work with. Passionate about their craft and more than willing to strike poses again and again. We strive for our shoots to not only be successful but for everyone involved to have a great experience. Part of that is having fun during the process. I believe that is one factor that translates directly to the final images. These girls certainly upped the level of "fun" for the shoot and I think it shows in the shots we were able to capture. We certainly enjoyed the shoot and hope that we get to work with them again soon.
