Seigel Family Shoot

I could not have written a better example of images being captured to mark a significant benchmark in the journey of a family. We met with this Trio for a family shoot just days before they were to leave Dallas behind and relocate to their new home of Paris, France. The wife (and mom) even called me and said that she wanted to have a session that documented and marked these last days in Texas. Images that they could look back on and say that was right at the end of one chapter and just as we were starting the next...

One thing I can tell you is that you cannot plan a typical Photo Session with a young energetic boy who is dead set on investigating every corner of a new environment. He doesn't care that there is a photoshoot planned. Because there is a fountain and water! And walls to jump up on and explore! And a bird! And so many new places to explore! What a truly apropos image (to borrow a truly apropos French word) for this family's next chapter. All of the new things and places to explore...
