Parents of students of all ages know that this school year is anything but typical or normal. The pandemic has changed just about everything we do. Schools are having to adapt and nothing looks the same as it did even at the start of last year's school year. So one of the things we have found our Clients doing to try and instill a bit of "normalcy" - are Senior Sessions. It is one of the "traditions" of Senior Year that with a few modifications, doesn't have to be completely curtailed.
Recently, we met with Lake Highlands Senior and Studio Rep, Paige for an outdoor session in the park. It ended up being one of those Texas summer scorchers...but Paige was a real trooper and we were able to capture some really nice images.
One of Paige's passions and accomplishments during her High School years has been her participation on the volleyball team. Last year we photographed her playing on the Varsity team - which she is a member of this year as well. When we can, we like to highlight these accomplishments in a Senior photography session. These parts of our high school students' lives become such a part of who they are and how and where they spend their time and effort - that we think it is important that it be acknowledged and celebrated.
Paige was kind enough to bring along a spare volleyball on the session so we could snap a few quick volleyball poses.
