To bring 2023 to a close with a true holiday spirit, I met up at Fredericksburg's Marktplatz with two of our Studio Dance Representatives donned in their Nutcracker costumes. Fresh off their performances in Ms Rhonda's School of Dance's presentation of "The Nutcracker" ballet, the plaza provided the perfect setting. The 26-foot tall wooden German Christmas Pyramid (handcrafted in Germany in 2009) and 30-foot tall Community Christmas Tree served to highlight Lead Peppermint and Snow Queen, Kenslea and Caylee.
My hope, as always, is that this session will provide a snapshot of Kenslea and Caylee's journey as dancers. Helping to capture this moment in their pursuit of their craft when they poured so much time and effort into their individual roles. Years of preparation that have lead to these performances. Images that I hope help the viewers to appreciate the efforts behind the ability and grace. In much the same way that our session lead to people (especially younger girls) walking up to Kenslea and Caylee and asking if they could get their picture taken with them.
